How to Use Dice Roller

The roll history panel records your last 30 rolls with individual die results and totals, making it easy to track results during a game session. Click Roll again at any time for a new result, or Clear History to reset the log.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a D20? expand_more
A D20 is a 20-sided die commonly used in tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons. It is rolled to determine the success or failure of character actions, with higher rolls typically being better.
What does rolling dice with advantage mean? expand_more
Rolling with advantage means rolling two dice and taking the higher result. Rolling with disadvantage means rolling two dice and taking the lower result. Roll twice using this tool and apply whichever value your game system requires.
What is a modifier in dice rolling? expand_more
A modifier is a fixed number added to or subtracted from the die result. For example, rolling 1D6+3 means rolling one six-sided die and adding 3 to the result.
Are the dice rolls truly random? expand_more
Yes. All dice rolls use the browser's crypto.getRandomValues API, which provides cryptographically secure random results. The probability of each face is exactly 1/N where N is the number of sides.
Can I roll multiple dice at once? expand_more
Yes. Set the number of dice (e.g. 3 for rolling 3D6) and all dice are rolled simultaneously. Individual results are shown along with the total sum.
