How to Use PDF Merge

To merge PDF files, click the upload area or drag and drop two or more PDF files onto the page. Files are listed in the order they were added, and you can drag them to reorder before merging. The tool processes everything locally in your browser — no files are uploaded to any server.

Once you have arranged your PDFs in the desired order, click the Merge PDFs button. The tool combines all files into a single PDF document and prompts you to download it. This is useful for combining reports, contracts, or multi-part documents into one file.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many PDF files can I merge at once? expand_more

You can add as many PDF files as you need. The tool processes them all in your browser, though merging a very large number of heavy files may take more time depending on your device's memory.

Can I reorder the PDFs before merging? expand_more

Yes. After uploading, you can drag and drop the listed files to arrange them in the exact order you want before clicking Merge.

Is there a file size limit for merging PDFs? expand_more

There is no server-imposed size limit since everything runs locally in your browser. Practical limits depend on your device's available RAM.

Does merging PDFs affect quality or resolution? expand_more

No. The tool combines the existing PDF page streams without re-rendering or re-compressing them, so image quality, fonts, and layout are preserved exactly.

Are my PDF files kept private when using this tool? expand_more

Yes. Your files never leave your device. All merging is done entirely in your browser using JavaScript, ensuring complete privacy.
