help Frequently Asked Questions
Is my PDF uploaded to a server? expand_more
No. Everything runs locally in your browser using PDF.js and pdf-lib. Your file never leaves your device.
Can I make the watermark diagonal? expand_more
Yes — select 45° or −45° from the Rotation dropdown. The watermark will be drawn at that angle on each page.
What is Mosaic mode? expand_more
Mosaic tiles the watermark repeatedly across the entire page in a grid pattern instead of placing it in one spot. Useful for security markings.
What image formats work for image watermarks? expand_more
PNG, JPEG, and WebP are all supported. PNG is recommended for logos with transparency.
Can I watermark only specific pages? expand_more
Yes — use the "from page / to page" inputs to target any page range within your document.
