How to Use UPS Label Resizer

Why do UPS labels need resizing? expand_more

UPS generates shipping labels embedded in full 8.5×11 inch Letter PDFs. Thermal label printers use 4×6 inch labels. Without resizing, printing the PDF directly produces a tiny label surrounded by blank space.

What label size does a standard thermal printer use? expand_more

Most shipping thermal printers (Dymo, Zebra, Rollo, MUNBYN) use 4×6 inch (102×152 mm) label rolls, which is the standard size for shipping labels.

Will the barcode still scan after resizing? expand_more

Yes. The resize operation scales the entire label proportionally, including the barcode. The barcode remains scannable as long as it is not cropped.
