How it works

  1. 1

    Upload

Drop a USPS shipping label PDF or image. It stays on your device.

  2. 2

    Pick output size

Choose 4×6 thermal, A6, half-page sticker, or any custom size.

  3. 3

    Resize & download

We re-render the label at the new size and hand back a fresh PDF.

USPS Click-N-Ship and most third-party USPS providers print the label in the top half of an 8.5 × 11 PDF. For Zebra / Rollo / DYMO thermal printers, pick 4 × 6 in and the “Crop top half” fit mode. Pirate Ship and ShipStation already export at 4 × 6 — for those, leave fit mode on “Fit”.

USPS label resizing — FAQ

How do I convert Click-N-Ship 8.5×11 to 4×6?

Upload the Click-N-Ship PDF, pick 4 × 6 as the size, and use "Crop top-half" — USPS Click-N-Ship prints the label in the top half of the page, and this preset trims it for thermal printers.

Does it work with Pirate Ship, Stamps.com, ShipStation?

Yes. Any PDF works: Click-N-Ship, Stamps.com, Endicia, Pirate Ship, ShipStation, Shippo, ShippingEasy, plus marketplace exports from eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, Mercari and Depop.

Will USPS scanners still read the resized barcode?

Yes. The label is re-rendered from the vector PDF, so the IMpb barcode, tracking number and postage indicia stay sharp. SCAN forms scan correctly.

Can I print on a Rollo, Zebra ZP450, or DYMO 4XL?

Yes — pick 4 × 6 in. All three printer families load 4 × 6 (102 × 152 mm) labels and accept the resized PDF.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The PDF is parsed and re-rendered in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, logged, or stored on a server.

How to Use USPS Label Resizer

To resize a USPS shipping label, upload your USPS PDF label file using the upload area. Labels from USPS Click-N-Ship, Stamps.com, Endicia, and Pirate Ship are all supported. These are typically delivered as 8.5×11 inch PDFs with the actual 4×6 label occupying the top portion of the page.

Select your target output size — 4×6 thermal, A6, or custom dimensions — then click Resize. The tool crops and rescales the label in your browser without any server upload. Download the resulting PDF and print it on your thermal label printer without any additional scaling adjustments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which USPS label formats does this tool support? expand_more

The tool works with USPS Click-N-Ship, Stamps.com, Endicia, Pirate Ship, and any other service that generates USPS labels as PDF files on standard Letter paper.

Why does my USPS label come on an 8.5×11 page? expand_more

USPS and third-party shipping platforms generate labels as Letter-size PDFs so they can be printed on standard office printers. Thermal label printers require the 4×6 label area to be extracted and resized.

Will Priority Mail and First-Class labels both work? expand_more

Yes. The resizer works with all USPS service types — Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, First-Class Package, Media Mail, and others — as long as the label is in PDF format.

Can I use this for labels from Pirate Ship? expand_more

Yes. Pirate Ship generates standard USPS PDF labels that work with this resizer. Upload the PDF, select 4×6 as the output size, and download the thermal-ready label.

Is my shipping information kept private? expand_more

Yes. All resizing is performed locally in your browser. Your label PDF containing recipient addresses and tracking numbers is never uploaded to any server.
